So I am not the most web site-savvy gal out there. Let's just say I don't think I've evolved past 10th grade, when I used to have a real gem of a personal site on Geocities. Thankfully, Weebly has made it easy for me to create a site that looks pretty and functions well. I owe a huge shout-out to Sandi Hill Photography of East Hanover, NJ for my new headshots.
I can't believe it's summer already (possibly because we've had so little spring-y weather in New Jersey this year). Life will definitely slow down a little bit now - the choir at Grace Church Brooklyn Heights takes a break for the summer, although I'm hoping to be able to sub a bit at a few friends' churches in Jersey again this year. I'm planning to spend my extra time at the pool or the beach ... but I also have a new show in the works that I'm really excited about. I'm writing it with my pianist and music director, Eddie Schnecker, who helped me to create my cabaret debut, "Love Letters from Jersey," two years ago. I'm hoping to open it at one of the cabaret spaces in New York this fall--I particularly like Don't Tell Mama, because everyone who works there is a rock star. I don't want to give away too many details yet, but I'm really looking forward to making this show happen.
